Another newbie here!
Hi there everyone,
I have been a lurker on this site for well over a year now and have finally decided to introduce myself. In the past few years I have been growing as much as possible in pots in my back garden (completely paved). However! Today I have been to the local council offices to sign the paperwork and collect my key for an allotment. I am soo excited and can't wait to get down there and get stuck in. It is a five min drive away but even better a 20 min walk so I can get there (on the days I am not working) with my 1yr old.
I am currently also considering ripping out the paving in my back garden and having 2 or 3 chickens.
Hope to be chatting with you all very soon!

Welcome to Ish....
Lots of witches, yes - but I bet not many of you has a granddaughter who went running to her teacher in floods of tears, because 'dara burke' said that her nanny wasn't a REAL witch!! Blasphemy in Leah's eyes!!
'S funny because I'm actually not very witch-like, but I'm a terrible fibber when it comes to telling the little one stories of how I put spells on the under-bed monsters and such - ahhh, such innocence

The more people I meet, the more I like my garden
