WOW! We keep meaning to make our own sausages but haven't got around to buying a mincer yet.

So, when are you setting up your own farm type shop then Al?

DON'T START ME DOWN THAT ROAD..... I started making candles as a hobby about 10 years ago and finally it went wrong in march 07. Thankfully it was then and not now as we have been able to sort our debts out but nope not a sausage king just yet.

As for the flavour it was old fashioned gold. Tasted very much like an old lincolnshire type pork sausage.

There used to be a sausage maker in Hartlepool called Heratio Hedbanger... Absolutly great, genuine bloke who started a sausage making venture and it was well recieved but not popular enough to keep a shop going. Many wonderfull mixes so I will be experimentting but for now i'll stick to the prepared seasoning mixes, lol.

There is a great sausage shop in Beckenham, called um, the Sausage Shop I think? Or maybe Village Sausages?

Anyway, great sausages, and good veggie ones too - spinach and Leicester, mozzerella and sundried tomato and all manner of wonderful things.
