BGG is good for me too as I have tickets finally!
Glastonbury Festival would be another suggestion for a meet up.

The only problem with BGG is the cost. £115 to get in

Mine too, especially on top of travel costs.

Re: The ish meet thread
If anyone fancies heading in this direction, when things are a bit warmer, there are a number of camp sites near by and we'd be happy to be guides or centre point etc

What about forming local little fairly informal Ish groups if enough of us live in one area.I have no idea if there are any Ishers living near. We need to look at meeting where public transport is easy and costs low whatever plan happens

We would love to meet up this year, as we missed out last year through illness,
another northern meet would be great, it would be great to put faces to you all.

I would be happy to arrange another picnic in the park in Edinburgh.... wondering if the meadows might be better than Princess street gardens? but PSG has shelters if it rains... last year it poured, and we shared a shelter with a group of inebriated locals.... it was like street theatre....lol...

If anyone fancies a "local" meet up in the peaks, I would gladly look into it and find somewhere good to have a get together.

Re: The ish meet thread
Our little meet up in London last year became a bit of a "Swap Fair" with seeds and lavender being swapped for marmalade and food. Anyone up for a "Swap Fair" in the south west?
Cheers

Now that would interest me greatly some real nice pubs around there, not to mention loads of prehistoric sites, would be good for a camp up thereSarahJane wrote:If anyone fancies a "local" meet up in the peaks, I would gladly look into it and find somewhere good to have a get together.

Re: The ish meet thread
Is anyone going to Croissant Neuf's Summer Party?
At the moment, tickets are £55 for adults and £15 for children.
I've booked the weekend off work (incidentally, i realised after i'd booked it that i've also booked off Ish Day!). It would be nice to meet other Ishers and/or have someone to hang out with. Not sure if nik's going to come too.
