Thankyou - glad you found my description easy to follow... having curly or 'full' hair seems to hide a multitude of sins... as long as you get the basics right and it took me a few goes before I worked out that cutting hair an inch longer than I wanted it gave me just the right length - as you will have discovered it bounces up a fair bit when it is dry.bluensm wrote:
Annpan, your description was excellent and I persuaded OH to follow it and cut my hair. It's slightly shorter than I was expecting (you were right about that!) but it looks really good. My OH did an excellent job and I'm very proud of him. Couldn't get the hang of the 45 degree cut bit but it looks fine without doing that. Might help that my hair is curly so maybe you can't tell as much.

here, here..... but my poor student son charges a fiver to do it for me as I can't lift my arms to head hieght... is my son opportunistic or just a mercenary?, lol.Rod in Japan wrote:This is one tip that you probably won't find very useful, but if you go over your whole head thoroughly with the clippers, you can't go far wrong. I find this 'style' very convenient.
