Thankyou, Secret Santa!!!

The postman just came with my goodies (I opened the parcel, I didn't know it was my secret santa - otherwise I would have left it till Christmas day)

Absolutely gorgeous and fantastic things... some wee fingerless mits,lots of lovely seeds and tea and biscuits...

I don't care what anybody else says, I have definitely had the best Secret Santa present of the year.

Firstly there was a couple of nice pieces of bubble wrap - oh so many uses
Then a lovely shoe box. Not any old shoe box mind, this was a genuine Roland Cartier - someone has very good taste in shoe boxes. I'm afraid I couldn't restist opening the box as I could already smell the most wonderful smell of almonds.
Then there were a couple of really cute little pictures of Christmas trees with a cryptic message about not driving after eating - mmmmm
Then some fantastic red tissue paper - now I can really use that.

The best bit - a fantastic Ishmas cake, hand made (I hope) and beautifully hand iced.

Thank you so much Santa - it is brilliant

What do you say when someone you gave up believing in 70 odd years suddenly sends you a gift of goodies made with their own hands, and sent with love, other than say a very warm thank you, and to once again realise what kind and gentle people inhabit this world of ISH.

I would like to say a very big thankyou to my secret santa. I would have left it under the tree but thought it was something else.

Mine arrived this morning, and as we did gifts yesterday for Yule I opened it. I LOVE it, thankyou santa 'cos you're so right, I can make use of the fabric!
