hi, just popped in to say hi.. i am a frustrated self sufficiency-ish wonnabe, who has been thinking and playing at it for a few years...lol.. so now i need to get my act together and try and turn my back garden into my little smallholding..lol...( i only have a little garden) but i do have waste ground at the side of the house that i used to use for my chickens and ducks a few years back, but now its all over grown again...i have one chicken and one Duck which are now housed in the garden...

i do have a DayDream fund going to try and buy a smallholding and i have the grand total of.........wait for it.........

£637.79.... ..well it is a start..lol...

i also like doing up old furniture ..shabby chic style.... again no good at it.. but i do love it....

so hopefully over the next few days i will find myway around the forum and wont be too much of a pain with questions etc...

ye Andy it is a start...lol... but hopefully over the next few years i can add loads to it...

just a couple of questions, first of all can i add a link to my blog in my sig? dont want to go breaking any rules

plus what can i plant NOW!!!!!! been out in the old garden clearing up, and cutting down ( well hubby and eldest..) and old buddliea that is just outside our garden wall, its shades part of the garden that i want to put another veg plot... so been busy shredding all the small branches and cutting up the larger ones to dry out and burn on the fire..
