Physiologically speaking I can't get along with the Mooncup although my friends also rave about it, but I think that cloth pads are topper.
You ought to have seen the other Mums faces when I handed my hubby a bag of them to wash after having to have an overnight stay in hosp after giving birth to my youngest daughter!

This is just an aside really, but I also believe that apart from the obvious environmental reasons, my DD1 (3) has also become very accepting as to what happens to Mummys body and is not scared of the 'blood' as she sees me using them and washing them and this has to be a good thing. One particulary funny incident happened before DD2 was born - a friend had popped in for a coffee and a chat, and we were out in the garden and DD1 was helping me to hang a line of washing out she was busily passing me up the clothes when i felt her tucking something into my belt... she had poppered two of them together and was busily wedging them around the gusset of my trousers!lol.

Kids you gotta love em!
