Wotcha Peeps!
Hi,
Just joined after lurking for a couple of weeks. Nice fully featured forum this isn't it? And the natives seem fairly friendly as well!
I live in Sussex with my partner (henceforth known as HID) who is now confined to bed, her mind shot to pieces, and a series of nurses that look after her.
Started converting the garden to food production in 2006, grew a bit last year (lots of herbs, a few apples and about 10 tomatoes), and a lot this year (herbs, fruit and veg) and have now got a freezer well-stocked for the winter and Xmas veg still growing around the garden.
My interest in cooking from scratch has been rekindled and I've been buying local, free-range and/or organic produce.
Also interested in the 4 Rs, which I will be posting about, and energy generation and supply, which I won't here as I won't be doing anything along those lines on the micro-level and I can get into very heated arguments at the macro-level.
I hope Margo, at least, appreciates my avatar!

Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Hi Milims. You will know me as oeokosko on "another forum" that I used to post on, er, until a couple of weeks ago.
