Gender question
Gender question
I was just wondering where ish falls in the gender balance? Seems there are more women on here these days, I think we used to have more men...

I quite like the fact that you odn't actually know for sure i don't really like putting peple in a box very often don't notice colour, creed, sex etc until it's pointed out to me. I firmly believe I shoudl treat everyone equally. The only thing that bothers me is if poeple then get offended that I ignore their uniqueness...

notice/pay attention to
- does it matter if a woman looks like a bloke or a bloke looks a bit feminine? I don't adjust my responses to people based on their gender and appearance...

Re: Gender question
Oh, Cassie, I hope you don't think I was trying to put people in boxes.... I was interested more in where the devide lies, than specific people... please don't feel offended, it was not my intention.

Re: Gender question
Maybe, i'm being a bit controversial here, but the 'Ish site seems as though it has become more of a social forum, whereby some men are uncomfortable expressing their feelings, etc. Also, there seems to be a nucleus of regular female correspondants which, maybe to some males, can be a bit of a daunting prospect. I've no doubt someone will tell me that i'm wrong, but it's just a observation.
it's either one or the other, or neither of the two.

Well that fell a bit flat.Odsox wrote:Really ?Cassiepod wrote:very often don't notice sex

I was just trying to point out that I'm sure I've noticed every time I've had sex.

We do seem to be attracting more females these days. I have noticed the same effect on the Aussie site I visit. Not sure why, I would have thought this stuff was of concern to both sexes......

Re: Gender question
I think it is to do with society as it seems we have broken away from the old age gender roles of women should be in the home/cooking/cleaning/looking after the kids while the men folk earn a crust/work the land etc, thefreedom of it all is going to attract the members of the opposite sex as to which they were assigned.
I do not & have never liked stereotypes & I'm pleased people are willing to break them.
