Nothing stirring here - not even the stuff that's sitting on the radiator!
However, last time I looked the first broad beans had made it to the surface - the ones I sowed in November. Now, alas, they are covered in a think layer of snow...

Lettuce and radishes have sprouted up in 4 days on the window sill despite kitchen being very cold. Am still waiting on other things planted last Saturday.
Now I have Spinnach, Aubergine, Sweetcorn, Tomato, Pumpkin, Cucumber, Courgettes and I still don't know what the mystery one is
This is what happens when I forget to label my seeds
I've got tomato, bell pepper, cayenne, cilantro and marigold seedlings in the house.
My outdoor parsley, thyme and oregano also keeps peeking out in the sun, but then more snow comes.

Couple of years ago I DID label all my little seed pots - with a water soluble pen... Once watered, I had no idea what was what! All brassica, too, so they looked alike - in the end I had a nice mix of all sorts in my garden.

Hi there,
I am new to the site and also new to growing veggies! I have just created a small vegetable patch in the back garden using compost from the compost bin (very proud of this!)
What I want to know is am I too late to be planting seeds now?
Whereabouts are you? This is such an international membership that we always have to ask this question before we give any advice... (We still had snow this morning - in many ways it's still too early to sow seeds!)
