Howard Gem Rotavator

Post: # 128539Post Juddy in the Charente »

I am the proud owner of a Howard Gem Rotavator which has served me very well this season. Am about to give it a bit service it for the winter and am awaiting delivery of a manual from ebay (long time coming!). Does anyone know which oils to use for the engine and the pto etc?

Thanks
Surely it is better to have grown it and eaten it than never to have grown it all?

I don't have a Gem, but I do have a Howard 350.
The recommended oil for the engine is SAE 30 or 10W30 above 30 degrees F and gearbox is SAE 90
Hope that helps
Tony
