Mushroom ramble in the West Midlands

Do you know about an event that you want to talk about? Is there a campaign you have started, are involved in or want to start? Inspired by Marvin Gaye this is your place to tell the world what's going on.

I only just saw this thread and was so disappointed- I would've loved to have gone on the 12th! Not far from me at all. Although good news about the ramble this weekend. Will do my best to come along and bring some fellow foragers.

Thanks very much for posting about it :thumbright:

Woops, sorry for the confusion. I've jsut found it on the website for the 12th too but OH was adamant (any annoyingly is usually right) that he found it on the 19th. So I did the old-fashioned thing and picked up the phone. Apparently the one on the 12th, although at Sutton Park, was not organised by them but by Warwickshire Wildlife. The ones on the 19th are. The different dates must have been the result of different internet routes taken to get there. So there are two mushroom walks this Sunday, one at 10.30 till 12 and one at 2.30 till 4.00 so we can all go. We're going to the early one so maybe see you there? Sorry if we messed up anyone's Sunday through the confusion. ww.
