Publicity Stunt
I was thinking that a publicity stunt similar to that of fathers for justice could be an idea to raise a bit of support for the site. Tacky idea, just a bad idea, good idea or what? Also any suggestions on what would make a good stunt?

Depending on how its done, I think its a good idea to raise awareness. Something appropriate. Perhaps take a bunch of pot-grown veg (in milk cartons for extra impact re recycling) and put them on loads of windowscils of public buildings where security would allow access. A pity the Houses of Parlament are inaccessable. Maybe MI5? 8)

Re: Publicity Stunt
You know my inital reaction was an imediate no! then I went away and thought about it. I would hate to think that anyone is spending less time with their plants because of this site. If every page said this website is down for the day so go out and plant something, or soemthing along those lines cold actualy be pretty liberating for people. The logisitcs of doing something like that for a site this size and for a web fella(I rufuse to call myself a webmaster) with my knowledge could put a dampner on that one.rhyddid wrote:
Close the site down for the day. Tell surfers to go and discover their garden.

this could work too, if we could mobilse enough people in various different places then much more so. Would be good if we inspired one or two of the people in these places to grow a few things too.judyofthewoods wrote:Depending on how its done, I think its a good idea to raise awareness.
