Now it turns out that a while back, he saw a couple of potatoes chitting in the bucket so he took them out and just threw them in among the tomatoes. Yesterday I realised that I hadn't seen the tops for a couple of days. So this evening, we had Fidgety Pie with potatoes, spinach and purple sprouting brocolli for dinner, every bit of it grown, made and cooked by our 9 year old son!
How cool is that?
