Intermediate-Day Onion Sets

Post: # 126209Post mew »

Hi

Can anyone recommend any intermediate-day onion sets and where I can buy them from.

Just had a quick look on the net im im struggling a little.

I havent had much luck the last 2 years (if you've already seen my previous post - why are my onions so small... again - you'll know what Im waffling on about) and since I live in the Staffordshire area im guessing the intermediate-day sets might be the best option.

Help anyone? :0)

Thanks

At the moment, you only get the autumn planting ones; there aren't many varieties suitable for this, so I don't think you'd have much choice anyway! And quite a few places have sold out, or, like our local garden centre, couldn't get them at all...

Just had Radar delivered from Edwin Tucker; I think Dobie's still have some, too.
