Just stumbled upon this website, and i thought i'd join. Very informative, so should answer any questions i'm bound to have in the future. and maybe i can help others out with what little knowledge i have. lol
Living in North Wales on a smallholding, with 6 acres. Currently converting a cottage (for the inlaws) and a barn (for the missus and I). Currently working on ground source heating and installing multifuel burners with backboilers to do the underfloor and radiator heating. Our aim is to create a house which is self sufficient as possible. So far so good. We have our own water spring and purification unit for drinking water, waste is disposed of in a bio-septic tank, so have no need for the water companies.
Basically i hate giving my hard earned cash to corporate money grabbing sods!!
