Scar on lip from fall onto tin when I was a kid and in both groins due to hernia repairs, all hidden by wombat fur  . Scar on my forhead due to falling up stairs when I was 5. Hardly noticeable these days, I suspect that those I met in the UK wouldn't have noticed.

One on my left cheekbone from falling on the car key in an accident when I was 4-a piece of the key is still in my cheekbone, saw it on an x-ray!

a dent in the left leg caused by a horse stepping on me, many scars on my right hand from cooking mishaps and putting my fist through a window.

My c-section scar also itches mrsf, and I've had pain from an inner incision higher up.

two scars on my right leg, one from a bumper bracket on a car, the other from when my nutzoid ex suck a broken yardstick in my leg. and one on the lower right side of my face from a dog bite.

and one under my hair from falling off my horse!

45 years worth of scars.

I have more "inner scarring" than outer if everyone gets my drift

 Lois

I have a scar on my right wrist where I put my hand thru a glass door on Christmas eve when I was 10. I have scars on my index finger and middle finger on my right hand where a piece of metal conduit that I was cutting sprang back at me - blood everywhere! It happened during a 10 hour practical exam which I had to finish with big bandages on my fingers - but I came out with a distinction! I think they may have felt sorry for me - not only did I cut my fingers but I was also supposed to have been getting married that day! And finally I have scars on the end of each index finger where I stapled them together when I was 6! The only explanation for that act was that I wanted to see what would happen!

All the mentions of chicken pox scars make me worry (see my recent post) and has got me scratching already :(

MMM I thought everyone had a big nasty BCG scar, I had forgotten about that.

Isn't that the vaccination for smallpox (or something!) on our shoulders, which our grannies used to have at the top of their thighs? BCG is for TB.

The one I mean is an injection that was given at my high school in England when I was about 11, but first they do a skin test to see if you need to have the jab. I didn't as I'd already had it in Fiji - but I bet there are not many people who have a scar from an injection, unless they are old enough to remember blunt needles!
