We are living on the borders of a town and village, dreaming daily of living in the middle of nowhere, but being honest enough to realise that, that just ain't going to happen :( .
the ever growing luvpie household currently contains, 4 boys, 4 chickens, 2 cats, 2 rabbits, 4 fish, an empty tropical fish tank waiting new arrivals, now are we daft to look at our broody hen thinking, if we got some fertilised eggs........

I live in spitting distance of the countryside but I am most definitely i a town that is trying not to be swallowed up by Brum

quite interesting to see that we are a fair old mix then really. Strange when we set out we called ourselves the urban guide to selfsufficiency and it was just me Dave and Nev, then we started to get a small trickle of people from the countryside and I think for a while we had more country folk. So now it looks like we are pretty much 50/50 urban/rural. So I guess we can say that ish really does appeal to everyone, nice!

Well Andy, if it hadn't been for this site We wouldn't have moved out of our 1 bedroom ground floor flat opposite a McDs and moved to the country side with a huge garden. This site (and it's members) made us believe that it was achievable and has seen us through some of the worst parts of it... thanks.

(I'll not even blame the dry rot on you :flower: )

Is that really true Annpan? Not sure what to say other than I am honoured to have started something that has made that much of a profound difference to your life.
