Strange tomatoes

Post: # 120460Post Graye »

I bought a very sad-looking tomato plant from our local biocoop a couple of months ago. I have no idea of the variety. The tomatoes are a most peculiar shape but taste great. Does anyone know the variety as I would like to grow more next year.

Have you any pics of a ripe one? If it is stripey, it might be a variation of tigerella. I've seen them here.

Nice tomato!

I'm afraid all the ripe ones have been eaten at the moment but yes, they were stripey. Quite large too. I'll look up that strain online and see if there are photos, thanks
Growing old is much better then the alternative!

Looks like one of the Oxheart varieties.

Hi, not seen that variety before but if you want to grow it next year just save some seeds. It's very easy and you can save as many as you want.
