Anyone know where I can get some of this pretty cheaply? I want to have some available at all times in my garden...

I once found some in a garden centre for about a pound as it was supposed to be mixed salad leaves (the other leaves had died). I took off the flowering stem each time it shot one up and it's still going. Otherwise try growing it from seed, http://www.nickys-nursery.co.uk/seeds/pages/herb-s.htm - it is slightly late to start it off but I think as long as there was sufficient leaf growth before winter they should keep going.

Surely it grows wild everywhere doesn't it ?
It certainly does where ever I've lived.

I think it's pretty darn common, yeah. The cultivars are apparently a bit more tender though, and I'm lazy as so they sound the easier option to cook ;)
