You know, if you grab the onion photo and invert it, there's a definite face there to work on ...

Wow! big bu**ers! I thought ours were big, now I have onion envy.
Joking aside I felt terrible as I went half with the nice couple on the plot next door last November on some onion sets. We pulled ours up and they were cricket ball sized, when she pulled hers they were golf ball. She looked so sad I just wanted to give her a hug! Then the ground to open up with the silence as my OH and I didnt know really what to say. I managed to break the silence buy suggesting it was the fact the ground was rested on our plot. It just shows you the difference 20 yards can make in soil location etc.
