hi from Spain

Post: # 114383Post casa_tyr »

"self-sufficientish" describes our life in Spain to a T! We moved from the UK 5 years ago, after working in the IT industry. We now run an olive farm, live in rural Spain in the mountains, and grow almost all our own veg! Also cherries, walnuts, chestnuts and almonds!

I'm hoping to get some advice on veg issues, but also am more than willing to help others!

We live in Yunquera, which is a small village inland, on the Costa del Sol. About an hour from Malaga

I drove down to Marbella in April this year and I was quite surprised at how beautiful the Malaga countryside is - it was stunning.
We took the scenic coast road which did put an extra 2 hours on the journey but it was worth it.
Very beautiful place.
