Say Hello to Dot, Mo and Flo....

Post: # 113347Post mew »

Finally got round to posting some pics of my new 3 family members. We will have had them a week tomorrow. All the firls are doing fine and settling in nicely. Weve even had 3 eggs (well probably more like 7 but the rest have broken as the shells have been really thin or they laid on the perch so they smashed through the slats into the poop tray). They'll learn no doubt given time.

bless them... I would really want to give a home to a few ex-bats... but I'll start with some good old breeds I think. Once I have a bit of knowledge I might choose to get a few second-hand ladies.

If that's what they look like after a week's TLC - poor hens! Well, it can only get better. I was all geared up to take some a while ago, and then it all fell through...

Welcome to the new girls. A few weeks of TLC and they'll be looking 10 years younger

Hello Dot, Mo & Flo!

They have beautiful living quarters and I think they look great, given their start in life.

I'm desperate to get some re-charges (as OH calls ex-batts) but haven't heard back from people I've contacted about them so far.
