Hello
:wav:
Sorry, but I'm quite new to jam making, and although I have a border full of wild strawberries, the only person in my family that has been lucky enough to eat any is my 2-year-old daughter - she can't get enough of them and goes out with a bowl every morning :flower: I have read somewhere, though, that strawberries don't freeze very well, so if you can it might be better to get the jam made now rather than later.

I think strawbs freeze ok for jam making.

I recommend buying a packet of silver spoon powdered pectin (find it next to the sugar) and following the instructions. yes its cheating.. but it works so well, takes so little time that the strawbs stay fresh and lovely.. and they are so low on pectin you have to do something....
