Hello There

I've been reading posts here and there but have just jumped in and joined. Me and my husband have been doing our best to become self sufficient for a while now, I found this website looking for wine making! But enjoying all the advice on gardening etc, I'm not really an expert just making it up as I go

Looking forward to chatting with you all :flower:

Hi There and welcome.
I am new too and think its great. If I have a growing it or making it question this is my first stop and it's nice to know there are lots of like minded people out there ,often when I tell people I grow and make stuff they look at me as if to say why when you can buy it??but it's not the same as digging up that first potato or sewing a top for my girls or tasting that first glass of homemade wine or even washing my hands with my homemade soap!
I enjoy every minute.....
Grow it,make it ,eat it, drink it and sleep well!

Hi earthgirly welcome. The great thing about making it up as you go along from a growing things point of view, is that plants seem to manage quite well as long as it rains and the sun shines. Now if one could just plant children... how cool would that be? :drunken:

Hello Earthygirlie,I think most of us do a lot "make it up as we go along," so join the club and enjoy your mistakes, they sometimes taste quite good
I can't do great things, so I do little things with love.
