You all seem to be such proficient chefs. Well here is a place to share some of that cooking knowledge. Or do you have a cooking problem? Ask away. Jams and chutneys go here too.

Never made rhubarb jam but I was given a pot made by somebody else. It was very good. I'd give it a go if I were you.

Yes I have and I can highly recommend it.
Rhubarb and orange is very nice as is rhubarb and ginger but just plain old rhubarb jam on toast for breakfast is as good as any marmalade.

Do - it's delicious. Rhubarb and apple works well too.

I make Rhubarb and Ginger Jam and it is really good - almost like a berry jam . Rhubarb is low in pectin though and I have a hard time making it set :?

Ah - winemaker's joy, jam-maker's problem. Oranges have a lot of pectin, but most of it's in the pith - the bit everyone chucks out. You'll get better pectin results with apples, gooseberries and plums.
