Hello everyone,
I'm a writer and I'm penning a piece about families who are beating the credit crunch by being self-sufficient for a national organic and ethical living magazine. I'm looking for a family who has chosen to step out of consumer society to grow your own food, generate your own energy, make your own clothes, generally reduce, reuse and recycle - any or all of these things. Have you saved money, are the kids willing to dig in or are they a little reluctant, how have your lives changed day to day, have you given up your day jobs, what is a typical day like?

To the moderators - I would of course credit this website, and this post is not soliciting or advertising in any way, I'd just like to find a genuine family that is doing this for real, to show the readers that it is possible to live a life without T***o.
