Hi Lynne et al,
Your'e right. We live in a[very nice]rented bungalow which is classed as two bed-roomed.But if you utilise the 2nd room as a bedroom, then you don't have adining room. The higher the number of bedrooms.........the higher the rent. :drunken:

Hey! I remember the 70s. I went see the Osmonds at Wembley on Friday night. How 70s is that?!

But you know you're getting older when the decade of your formative years becomes the subject of a theme party. Deary deary me.

back to the topic here, I remeber Tea's 3 bed flat, and Tea's atrocious ex landlady. The flat was so badly infested with mould that Zachy has severe asthma, attributed by their doctor to the mould in the old flat and Tea breathing the spores during pregnancy. Tea had to replace most of her furniture when she moved 'cos of the mould infestation, and the place was a total dive. Thank goodness for the local church.
her new flat, (although way too small for the family, not centrally heated, above a shop run by a numpty etc) is much better for their physical health, if not their mental health. Apart from Zachy of course, but then he's just a little climby spider lol!
I have had Tea on the phone crying about the state of their living arrangments and it's thurrock counsil's job to fix it. She didn't choose to keep having kids while in a tiny flat, the old flat though it was a mould infested rat hole, it was HUGE.
the flat she's in now was the only one they could afford 'cos it's linked to Darren's job. it's a viscious circle because the council wouldn't re-home them when the landlady kicked them out with little warning, the two bed was the only one they could afford and now they have a roof over their heads the council wont re-home them.

I hope I've not said too much here but I really gotta stick up for my mate.
oh how I love my tea, tea in the afternoon. I can't do without it, and I think I'll have another cup very

I am sorry if I appear to make light of you problem Tea it was thoughtless of me. With regards to your problem I can only say that I believe it is only par for the course when these pumped up little Hitlers that inhabit the Town Halls make decisions that affect the lives of ordinary folk. I sincerely believe that there two worlds, the one they live in, and the one the rest of us live in.
