Hi all at ish!
I found out about this site after buying Andy and Daves book, which I read really quickly cover to cover and much enjoyed it and found it inspiring and helpful. It shall be a book I often turn to, as will this site.
We recycle as much as possible, I walk or cycle most places as I live in the city, I cook most my food from scratch as I am vegan and have recently started to make my own bread. I have just started growing some plants, I have tomato plants, 3 small chilli plants, which I am well impressed with as I grew them from seed and one even has a couple of buds on it, and some lettuces. All these are on the window ledge in the living room, wish I had more space...
Well hopefully I will soon, as we are moving to North Ayrshire as I am starting a new job (in a residential centre for adults with autism) I really hope we will have a garden so that we can grow more and eventually get chickens.
Looking forward to learning more from this forum and hope you all can excuse my awful spelling and grammar and probably silly questions!

Hiya Adjoa - welcome to Ish!

Nothing to excuse in your first post, grammar- and spellingwise...

And there are no silly questions.
