Just separate an egg, and apply the white with clean fingers or some cotton wool to the area....a bit of nappy off time to help it to dry is useful.
I also have a tube of Vasogen the HV gave me that I sometimes use if I'm out of eggs, which I find better than Sudocrem TBH; but we just normally go with the egg-white.
As long as you don't repeatedly dip your fingers in the egg-white (i.e. try to do it in the one go), you can keep the it covered in the fridge for 24 hours.
I took my dog to play frisbee. She was useless. I think I need a flatter dog.

It's not recommended to whip up an meringue with what's left, incidentally..... Mind you, with the price of eggs at the moment it's very tempting...(I'd feed it to the MIL   )....

Hello. We used egg white when P had nappy rash and it's wonderful stuff. It forms a barrier between sore bot and ammonia etc, so the soreness has time to heal without being continually irritated by fresh, er, nappy contents

Hope the teeth settle down soon :?
