I have just spent two nghts of freezing cold, incedibly wet hell in a field in Nottingham and decided to forego the third night we'd already paid for (£9, non electric pitch). I normally love camping, but this weekend was just too darned cold and wet.

Mind you, yet again we seemingly got our own private bathroom on site by having Radar keys- access to lots of disabled toilets across the UK, you don't need to be disabled to own a radar key...(info on buying radar keys found here)

I have not been so glad to get home since I came out of hospital after having sophie.

Mind you, we managed to get a newly-potty-trained toddler to Nottingham from Essex, do lots of visiting family and such, and get her back again with only one wee-wee mishap so I'm really proud of her!

I didn't get to see my uncle Doz, but I did get to see my auntie Deb and uncle Andy which was fun.

but I am so glad to be home. mmmmm heating, kettle that only takes 3 mins to boil and interweb access.
oh how I love my tea, tea in the afternoon. I can't do without it, and I think I'll have another cup very

Aww Mrs F what a shame your hol wasn't up to much  but I always think that when the poopy stuff happens it makes you appreciate the good stuff more - like being home and warm!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

not a hint of good weather here or the midlands!
We currently have the inner part of our ridge tent hanging over the indor washing thingummy, and the outer part is over the bannister on the landing. it's raining so much outside right now :(
I'm sat way down the other end of the room with the indoor washing line and all I can smell is mud and wet tent.

Sorry you didnt have fun Mrs F., but doesnt it just make you appreciate home? Perhaps it should be compulsory for every family to camp for two weeks each year - a bit like national service. Then we would all appreciate how much water and energy we use and appreciate home. ww.
Money talks - but it dont sing and dance and it cant walk.
