Hi all,
Remember, when ya runners have finished [Septemberish],don't pull the old plant up.Cut it off flush at ground level & leave the roots in,enabling them to return nutrients into the soil.

Aye, I've heard it locks nitrogen into the soil.
I have a legume based veggie patch this year, so it should set me up well for next year (as well as producing lots of lovely beans and peas!)
