don't want to go to work!

Post: # 103965Post the.fee.fairy »

Argh!

I really don't want to go to work tomorrow.

I had a 'chat' with my boss and team leader on Thursday and it wasn't very nice, and i ended up crying.

Tomorrow they'll either be 'chatting' even more, or they'll be going out of their way to be nice. I just don't want to go!

On top of that my hand's swelling and itching again...i think that virus thing earlier this year was stress related and its coming back...

argh!

Hey Fee,

If your hand is bothering you-take a sick day and see your Doc-see if the Doc thinks its stress-related.

Otherwise is there anyway you can change jobs?

My sympathies, fee - I've had days when I was crying on the bus in to work, because I really, really didn't want to go... :(

If you can, take some time off work - after all, it is said that stress causes people to take a lot of time off, so you'd be in good company there - it also shows your boss etc that "having a chat" can be counter productive...

HI Fee, you have my sympathy and empathy. I know just how you feel - that's why I handed in my notice a month ago. The thing is hun - which is more important? Your life, family and health or the job? I know that we all need to work to earn the money to pay the bills, keep a roof over our heads and eat but surely there are jobs out there that can cover the cash issue without the hassle? This is a pretty good time of year for work - it's tourist season so there's bound to be temp work going that's suitably no-brainer, something that can earn you the cash without the stress. Good luck and hugs hun

sympathy :(
I hate it when I end up crying.. as it makes people react to that... and often it's frustration .
Lots of strength to you today.. will be better when it's done, let us know if they are nicey nicey or mean. and if they are mean we can all come round and bash them up.

Still dreading going in...

However, the prat next door has managed to make it all worse by shouting and banging on the walls until 4am...

I really hope that we get a nice house in Gloucester somewhere and move. I can't wait to go now..

Sadly, i need to keep my job until August. I need that pay packet in August to complete my saving for the piercing course i'm doing in September.

Roll on September!

Take one day at a time - I once had a job like that, and only knowing that it was only another three months to go made me stay. I made myself a calendar and ticked off a day every night...

Hi Fee,

I know how you feel, I went home crying on the first day of one of my jobs...not a good sign! left the job 6 months later.
Definately get a calender to tick of the days it really helps.
