It'll be one mole. And I love the things, so I can't tell you how to get rid. Some mole-assassin will be along shortly.

we used a mole deterant - solar powered thing makes a noise.. it did seem to work.

some months later our cat killed two moles - I had no idea they were so big! - so a cat might be useful too....

If theres a hole but no hill it is more likely to be a rodent such as the field vole (or another thing I don't know what it is called, only in French). I currently have these causing havoc in my veg patch. They are as much a pest as moles but perhaps slightly easier as they don't cause hills! However they still run channels under my seedlings.

I don't know what to do about them. The French put down poison - that's the reason I know their names because I see so much poison for these rodents in the garden centres!

Hi All
thanks for your help, looking at the holes today probably looks like a vole,so have put lots of sticks in the holes with plastic bottles on them,so when wind blows they rattle. we also have 2 cats and they do catch the moles but most times more than they can handle, still the beans are replaceable, bless um.
