Bee tobacco - smokable ?
Hi,
We went to a small shop today, for bee supplies ... and the man sold us some bee's tobacco, and told me I could smoke it no problem ... just to be sitting down while smoking it because it can get you a bit dizzy. It's simply some unrefined tobacco.
I tried some straight on, and it's actually a good smoke, not referring about any dodgy smoke, but simple cigarettes ....
Much nicer than golden virginia and others ...
I didn't find any weird effects afterwards ...
so I was wonderring if anyone had any ideas if it was ok to keep on smoking some ... because at 6 odd euros the 500gr bag .. happy days !
Here is what I found on the web:
http://www.dave-cushman.net/bee/smofuel.html
"This by product from the tobacco industry consists of leaf stalks, thick leaf veins and tatty bits of tobacco leaf that have been rejected for use as recreational smoking materials.
This form of tobacco is most commonly found on mainland Europe, in use for bee smoker fuel. I believe that it is also one of the materials that are used in the German mouth powered "Imker Pfeife" type of smoker. I have not used this material myself, but I used to sell it when I was in business... It was a slow, but steady selling item. "
Thanks,
Camile

Can I ask why on a site where the vast majority of people are trying to do their best to be more eco friendly, make less of an impact on the planet use less waste etc, in effect trying to save the planet etc would anyone want to smoke???
Whats the point of doing all that when you're not prepared to save yourself??
Just curious! All sounds blardy silly if ya ask me!

I might have to pass this on to my mum; although I don't condone what she's doing I do understand her reasons for it... even if they are a little mental.
I don't wish to go into her reasons on here 'cos it's got a whole load of back story to it lol!!!
