Hi LBR, yes oldies like me are into washing lines and outside drying. I was given a tumble dryer 20 years ago never used it and gave it away to somebody else who needed it more. Clothes fine at 30 but I always wash teatowels and dishcloths at 95 .this also keeps the machine clean and i dont get any problems with sludge and goo build up. cant make my mind up on towels,always used to do them at 60 but have been mixing them in the 30 wash for a while. intend to try the teatowe...

hi pumpy, the down spout drops straight down the corner of the house to the main drain via the usual trap arrangement.if there was room to stand the butt next to it and still get wheelbarrow past then i could just fit the diverter kit and all would be simple. alas a small immovable wall holding back...

waiting for my first courgettes and hoping runner beans and broad beans will grow well.I cannot persuade the :cat: to guard them though, I had hoped he would sleep by the runners and scare the pigeons away but setee is better :lol:
