McNaught Comet

Hi,
Has anyone else been comet spotting?? The McNaught Comet has been visble here for sometime and as Mildura usually has such clear nights, it's quite a sight. Wondering how visible it is elsewhere :flower:

We did have a fair bit in a short space of time though and got flooded!!! Fortunately for us it was on...

NO TOXIC WASTE DUMP!!!

Hi everyone, It's an exciting day in the Sunraysia Region...today the 'Brack's Government' decided to abandon the proposed toxic waste dump at Hattah/Nowingi national park....This may not mean much to anyone else on the forum, but it certainly means a lot to the people of this region. It's been stro...

A bit late replying to this one, but only a newbie!! I'm totally amazed that you only need to put out the bin every 4 weeks!! We are now in the situation in our area that the rubbish is in a small wheelie bin and the recyclable waste is in larger bin, but still need to have it collected on a weekly ...

Normal bar soap tends to flare up my youngest offsprings eczema, so have experimented with numerous liquid shower gels etc. Found one that seems to work....it's available in a BATH CREME...so very much looking forward to trying the 3/1 method and dispensing it into the pump action for use in the sho...

Hi, when we lived in Stanwell Tops (N.S.W.) we regularly fed the many wild birds that visited...fortunately for us they were so greedy that they ate ALL the seeds left for them and left absolutely nothing for any kind of vermin to take as scraps. The Sulphar Crested Cockatoos actually knocked on the...

I use Mirrabella 5 watt in bedroom lamps and 'overnight' hall light. I have terrible night vision, so if anyone needs to get up during the night, leave this one on...probably a few out there that wouldn't agree with leaving lights on overnight, but find it works for us!!! Otherwise I trip, walk into...
