I live in Wales which means we have rather wet summers so growing crops can be a very hit and miss affair, but I still love doing it. Unfortunately I broke my foot a few weeks ago so harvesting has been a nightmare and I've lost quite a lot of stuff, and instead of courgettes I have gigantic marrows...

Having broken my foot I have been unable to get out into the garden for some weeks. I now find that my green beans are all like luggage straps and completely inedible. Heartbreaking as I have the best crop I've had for some years. I have used some for making wine, but would like to salvage the beans...
