from memory I think we used to be able to buy stuff from the feed merchant when our hens had a similar problem, it looked like small pieces of sea shell

our cat used to bring in all sorts of live creatures, she once brought in a live rat :shock: :shock: sitting half dressed and drinking my first cup of tea of the morning the huge thing walked out from under a chair and sauntered across the room. UGH!! I'd go for a humane trap for the poor wee mouse ...

I hate the shape of them too, and are they actually that ecologically sound? By that I mean there has to be some energy used somewhere to make them move but is it less or more than derv or petrol? I use my horse and trap a lot for local journeys but so far Sainsbury's in town hasnt got tie rings in ...

lovely attitude Al, Im planning a woodland burial for myself with 'ashes to ashes' playing - not sure if I'll meet up with your mam or not but I think I prefer the warmth of the fires than sitting on a cloud with a harp

Although the recipe didnt stipulate yeast I did add some, it might be why it fizzed over so vigerously perhaps?
