It sounds awful Ellendra, I hope you get better soon. the worst thing is thinking this is out of your control and that doctors aren't helping. keep going back to the docs. you don't say if anyone has suggested further tests. You need complete rest and the correct drugs and only a doctor can tell you...

i've made potato pancakes with potato flakes, very very quick and very cheap too, and have added a spoonful in soup occasionally to thicken it, as i hate flour in my soup

Shell i just used a big pyrex casserole dish the first time and it worked fine. Because it was smaller than my iron pot i got a taller-shaped loaf and it was still very crusty
