Sorry but I just want to have a cheer!

It's been such a good day here at Milims Mansions! We've managed to get out into the garden at last and plant lots of stuff and catch the sun. And I've baked yet another lemon drizzle cake (yesterdays was gone my lunch packs this morning!) and a double batch of spice and rasin scones. The bread failed - bread makers bu***red - but the chooks will love it!

We've been re-doing the kitchen so long that it's really good to be able to get into it and cook properly again!

Then my son and I had a walk thru the village in the sunshine to post a letter and on the way back we had a walk thru an old quarry over looking the bright blue sea and saw a beautiful ketch with bright red sails. Then, for tea, I sort of created an asparagus, pasta and parmesan dish that was totally yummy, which has been washed down with a glass of last years orange wine that we totally forgot about and which has matured beautifully!

And to crown it off I've discovered that my friend is running a yoga class in the village hall on Thursday - something that I've been on the look out for for ages! All in all the best day that's been had in ages!
