my dream is a valley that no one can enter, somwhere warm where it rains when i want it to, no tv no mobile phones just my little wind up radio and i can grow everything including tropical species and where my animals roam free and come to me when they need milking or looking after,
then i woke up in England where its cold wet and windy but i still love it

My dream is a homestead near the sea and not far from the mountains. A place with meadows and patures for the animals, fields for grain and feed, and a large garden. Room for the kids to run and play. Four seasons. A small river to fish and swim in. It would be someplace where I could live with no government interference, the way I choose to live, with good, home grown food and fresh air.

Well we are living our day dream pretty much, 10 acres, good weather, near the sea and a couple of lakes with stunning scenery, nice house, swimming pool, surrounded by trees and our own mini wood.
It is not perfect, I would like a lot more rain and less stones in the soil and also to be near a beach that is safe to swim in. In the day dream, there would be a teleport so friends could visit us from the UK and we could visit family with ease. There are always sacrifices to be made to achieve your dream
Opinionated but harmless

I'd like just the one acre next door to ours. That would be enough land for us to grow everything we need in terms of basic foodstuffs. The guy who owns it was hanging on hoping that it would be zoned for building land, but it is now clear that it will never be...because it has a tendency to flood and no insurer in France would insure a house built there. So, perhaps he will see sense soon

I live my dream every day and will, till I pop my clogs and provide a miniscule feed for the 4 hundred year old oak in my front garden.

I hope that you all find your dream, and at the end be able to say,
I can't do great things, so I do little things with love.
