Oooh, how interesting. Must admit, I only had a very quick glance because my crappy laptop tends to go bananas if it looks at a site with too many bells, whistles and flashing lights....

I assume it's a file-sharing site like Limewire, is it?

the theory is that it's a free online video recorder, so you can watch programmes you've "recorded" on their servers on your computer :cooldude:

Oh bugger, It is very handy for those of us who have satellite TV and can't record anything other than the channel that the TV is on.

We aren't supposed to be able to use it if we are outside the UK either, which is pretty pointless because if you are in the UK you can record one channel whilst watching another one........

Whilst the legality of this site may be questioned, the T&C's state that not only must you be in the UK, but that you also hold a valid TV licence.

I was marginally tempted to register, but am not filling in my details as I do not have a TV licence.....

I like my freedom hehe

It's a TV free house here.

It did take some convincing with the licencing people though. I expect them to be on our case again soon because I bought a new digital TV for my gran 2 weeks ago from Lewis's in Edinburgh - paid for with my card....registered at my address.... Honest guv it's for my gran!

I'd LOVE a tv free house but I'd be hung drawn and quartered for even thinking about it.

my bil and sil had to jump through hoops to trynand convince the tv licensing people that their house didn't even have a TV aerial and the walls were too thick to use an internal one.

we are fully licensed here. AND i remembered to change our address on it too lol!

ROFL...I know exactly what you mean. How did mummies cope without cBeebies?

(Mind you, it's pretty sad when you are singing away to yourself, and realise you're singing the theme tune to Mama Mirabelle or the ruddy Storymakers.....)

I know, was asked on the radio who famous I would like to see morris dancing. All I could think of was Mr Tumble or Boogie Pete. Said Brian Sewell then as I heard everyone in Cumbria go "eh???" realised I hAd misjudged the demographic and had to say "or the Spice girls"
"yum, yum, piggy's bum!"

having tried it several times, it would appear to be hopelessly over-subscribed (slow and stuttering output) :?
BUT, I have found this -
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/ - which works a treat!(who needs ITV anyway?)
