a Fairy bad update...

Post: # 83436Post Super.Niki »

Hey all

Just to let you know my sister Fiona (Fee Fairy) is pretty ill.
I'm still up at uni for now so havn't seen her for a few weeks, but apparently she has a rash & very itchy and was admitted to hospital yesterday, tested for all sorts like kidney failure and lung cancer (both of which she's clear of by the way!).
So At the moment no-one knows what's wrong but she doesn't have the energy to do much so this is why I'm updating everyone!
She's asked me to let you all know and hopes to rejoin her friends (you lot!) very soon! :)

All the best
Niki
xx

[Edit] Sorry, just to clarify she is OUT of hospital after having lots of tests but they still do not know what's wrong, although thanks Annpan I'll bear your suggestion in mind hospital food is awful!!!

Oh our goodness! Please tell her that we send her our very best wishes and positive vibes and that she's lots better very soon and back here with her sparkling loveliness (and no at all itchy!)
Please keep us informed - and if they do find out what it is let us know 'cos there's bound to be someone on here who can offer some help and hugs!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

Could you make her a nice cuppa and give her a big hug from me please...

You'll need to smuggle her in some decent food too... no one ever got well eating hospital food.

Hope she is soon on the mend.

Best wishes
Ann Pan

Oh no! Please send her my best wishes, and I hope that they figure out what's wrong with her and get it treated quickly. We hope to see her back very soon.

Niki, I have a couple of friends who have had an itchy rash and been so tired they could barely move as a reaction to taking a sulfa type antibiotic or having it used as a topical wash. Some also had vomiting, breathing difficulties, sun sensitivity, or other problems in addition. The sulfa based antibiotics have a number of different names and even more trade names, so checking on any recently taken antibiotics would be helpful.

or that url doesn't work as it doesn't think (medicine) is part of it, try instead

And here's the side effect lists of one of them

Fee Fairy I hope you feel much better soon.
