What is it with dogs and big sticks?

Usually the first you know they have them is when they clatter the back of your legs as the dog tries to speed past you!

The mutt in the foreground belongs to my parents but we have had her for three weeks! Parents are on holiday. Can't wait to send her back! She is stuck to my leg all the time - even when going to the toilet. Sooooo jealous of any one speaking, laughing, God forbid us speaking to our own dog, Brook (in the background). Me me me me me me me me me me me! Thats all the lovely Mable can say. Ever.

Love em both to bits tho!

Love the pic TG!
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

hahahahaha! my childhood lurcher was never kne for sticks. bred from hunting dogs, placed in a loving urban family home with nothing to chase but an old fat cat I think he kind of lost any real dog he had in him and just became something like a cross between a sheep and a rug.
oh how I love my tea, tea in the afternoon. I can't do without it, and I think I'll have another cup very

Lovely picture!!! Just taken mine out (only two now! lost three recently!!!) and it started to rain, but was OK.

Dogs love sticks... mine do... especially when they can chew them to "death" after a few chews and then you have to find another one or your dogs think you are useless!

At the vets we have had only one stick injury, it went straight down the dog's throat and through the wall of it... nasty. But after a long recovery, it was fine.
