Post: # 4141Post Tracey Smith »

Hi all,

First off, sorry I have not been around much lately, but following my tour of the UK for http://www.DownshiftingWeek.com I was plunged into a word pit, writing it all up.....and then, just when I thought it was safe to go back into the garden, I had to write and film a documentary

A crew from the Finnish Broadcasting Company stayed with me and we stripped the subject bare.

Sadly, Finland has one of the highest suicide rates and almost a 50% divorce rate. These problems are partially related to high stress levels, so TV2 thought they would explore Downshifting and Simpler Living to see if it is something that could provide a solution for some.

Anyway, they left at the weekend and life has settled back to normal again, whatever normal is and I thought I would pop in and say hello :flower:

Hi Shiney,

Tell me about it!

I am supposed to be back in the chain-gang in the garden, removing tiles from the barn roof, but our backs have siezed up and we are good for nothing....

Restingly yours,
Tracey Smith
