Hi all,
been reading a bit and found this place very interesting so far! Looks like there's lots more to read too! Just moved house and got lots of chickens, and planning some veggie patches. The place is a bit chaotic at the mo but hopefully it'll all come together eventually!

Hi Rosie

:welcomeish:

Whereabouts are you, and did you move far?? We've got chickens too, and ducks, geese and goats. Great fun...

Hi, we moved from NW lancs to Welsh/Shrops borders. We had 4 chickens back then in a relatively long garden (about 220 ft) and now have 21 at the last count and have expanded to 1 1/2 acres, so still room for more!

I am a complete beginner re gardening as it was my husbands territory before but now there's room for both of us! I would like to grow as much of our own fruit and veg as possible and am thinking of getting into selling at the local Country Markets by turning our produce into pies, cakes, jams and chutneys etc I'm a bit more at home in the kitchen at the mo but hoping to be green-fingered soon!

hi everyone, thanks for the lovely welcome. I have to say I need to post a bit to get past the 'Margot' stage, everytime I see the pic it reminds me of when I had a curly perm in the 80's!
