Nice article, too! I enjoyed reading that. And contrary to what she says at the end - I have heard of somebody who had worms in his bedroom... I fact, since he produced them commercially, he had the hatchery next to his bed.
I once brought home a few worms that I found when taking soil samples. Interesting behaviour they had - they were two different kinds (the slimmer, darker red ones, and the thicker, lighter ones). I think it was the darker ones that all tried to escape from my plant pots asap; the lighter ones just settled down and buried themselves!
