"A Good Day"

Post: # 248390Post oldfella »

Its getting close to the Oldfella's birthday, and over the past few days we have received various items, "not gifts you understand no mention of Birthdays, just that they thought we could use 10 kilos of Walnuts, 20 litres of Wine cos we helped with the Vendange, 10 kilos of Pork "for the freezer" and Yesterday a trailer load "about 3 or 4 Tons of Cow manure" for the new raised beds, and the new flower garden". So today I have been up to my knee's in cowshshite, the OH went out, haven't seen my daughter who lives next door :dontknow: and had my favourite Lunch, a good old Ploughman's with couple of Belgium Beers that my mate has bought in with friends.

Yep its been a Good Day
I can't do great things, so I do little things with love.

Sounds perfect Oldfella, and I won't wish you happy birthday but have one of those beers for me.

A very happy birthday for whenever it is/was! It sounds to me like you have some very lovely friends
Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!
