Siegfried's death and funeral music from Gotterdammerung by Wagner.
There, that definitely proves I'm a 100% weirdo
What's even worse, it makes me cry every time I hear it.

I have relented a little and now he has got Tristan & Isolde on a CD but if he ever goes out and gets the ring cycle I shall get a full sleeve possibly involving a sugar skull.

In answer to the thread question it was by The Kills but I don't know what it was called!

Thanks to Richie it's Coulters Candy - haven't heard that one in years!
Just minutes before that I was my daughter singing Tracey Chapmans Fast Car. She can't believe that such an old song can be so good!

Let us be lovely
And let us be kind
Let us be silly and free
It won't make us famous
It won't make us rich
But damn it how happy we'll be!

If you like Eliza Carthy, have a listen to Karine Polwart, absolutely stunning singer/songwriter.Penny Lane wrote:baldybloke wrote:Secret Agent by Rory Gallagher![]()
